Though I hadn’t heard you sing before, my daughter had told me how amazing you are as a performer, a wonderful teacher, and that you have a stunning voice. And when you performed a second, surprise song—You Light Up My Life—during the reception, with my daughter and granddaughter interpreting for my son and his bride, who are both deaf, it was an incredibly touching moment.
