“The Power of Authentic Harmony: Cultivating Soulmate-Love Friendships in All Relationships” By Dr. Pauline Crawford, PHD

The Power of Authentic Harmony: Cultivating Soulmate-Love Friendships in All Relationships By Dr. Pauline Crawford, PHD, Founder of Corporate Heart International.

In a world that often feels devoid of love and connection, soulmate-love friendships offer a beacon of hope. These unique relationships go beyond the surface-level interactions that are so common in our fast-paced, digital age. They are rooted in authentic harmony, unconditional love, and positive synergy, and they have the power to transform our lives and our world.

At the heart of soulmate-love friendships is the conscious valuing of self. It is only when we go within and cultivate a deep sense of self-love and self-acceptance that we can truly connect with others in a meaningful way. Soulmates understand that they are complete and whole on their own, and they bring this sense of wholeness into their relationships. They do not seek validation or fulfillment from others, but rather share their authentic selves with each other in a mutually supportive and empowering way.

In soulmate-love friendships, there is a deep respect for each other’s individuality and uniqueness. Differences are not seen as obstacles, but rather as opportunities for growth and learning. Soulmates celebrate each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and they support each other in becoming the best versions of themselves. They do not judge or criticize, but rather offer a safe space for open communication and vulnerability.

Unconditional love is a cornerstone of soulmate-love friendships. It is a love that transcends conditions and expectations. Soulmates love each other without needing anything in return. They do not try to change or fix each other, but rather embrace each other as they are, flaws and all. This unconditional love creates a foundation of trust and acceptance that allows soulmates to fully be themselves without fear of rejection or judgment.

Positive synergy is another key ingredient of soulmate-love friendships. It is the energy that is created when two people come together in a way that is greater than the sum of their individual parts. Soulmates lift each other up, inspire each other, and bring out the best in each other. They collaborate, co-create, and support each other’s dreams and aspirations. Through their shared energy and synergy, they are able to achieve things that they might not have been able to do on their own.

Soulmate-love friendships can be found in all types of relationships, beyond just romantic partnerships. They can exist between friends, siblings, parent and child, and even in professional relationships. What makes them soulmate-love friendships is not the label or the type of relationship, but rather the quality of the connection and the depth of the bond.

“Peace leadership and Spirituality – A Reflection” By Dr. Angelika Selle

Peace Leadership and Spirituality – A Reflection By Dr. Angelika Selle

“The 21st Century will be spiritual or it won’t be.” – Andre Malraux

‌Having been a peace leader for several decades (peace leader = a visionary, who envisions new possibilities and inspires individuals and people toward peace), I once asked a variety of people: What do you think are the most important characteristics of a peace leader?

To my surprise, most people cited three qualities: moral standards, authenticity and transparency.

‌Coming from my own experience, I absolutely agree with these findings, as all three areas contain the seed to create trust and be sustainable, which are important keys to peace.

There is another characteristic or component related to those three which I believe is the foundation for peace leaders to grow the above qualities: Connecting to the Creator, the higher inner self or the divine within.

‌Why? Because we hold ourselves accountable not only to human opinion, but to deeper truths and realities that lie within.

‌That truth that all human beings are divine in nature and spiritual in essence is the deepest common denominator that connects us. Therefore, to work from that space has the potential to override man-made barriers and divides.

‌Lasting peace starts from within and from the inside out, and from there can naturally manifest in our ways of thinking, our decision making, in our daily lives, relationships and careers.

‌Furthermore, as we look at the current state of affairs of dysfunction, violence, divides, etc in our families and societies, a peace leader who embodies the above qualities will be able to see beyond what meets the physical eye. He or she will then be able to identify the often undercurrent invisible issues, emotions and causes of problems and divides, and address them from a higher perspective. Higher perspective here refers to one that is not based on ego or preferring one party over the other, but seeking a win/win solution for both and for the highest common good.

‌How to access this higher perspective?

‌The most common and powerful ways to do so are through daily meditation, prayer, reading holy scriptures or other spiritual practices, all of which naturally activate our higher inner self and sharpen our consciousness and perception. During my many years of leading various projects, organizations, ministries and initiatives, besides practical leadership skills, my sincere, humble and passionate prayers -often together with others – allowed me to “see” better, and find solutions where there seemed to be none.

“Departed Empowerment From Grief to Greatness” By Otto Borsich

Departed Empowerment

From Grief to Greatness

By Otto Borsich

I love Shawshank Redemption. The legendary line, “Get busy living or get busy dying,” is as classic as the movie. I’ve always been a grab life by the horns type. When life bucks, kicks, tramples, and gores you, you’re faced with two choices: Get busy living or get busy dying. The span of February 2020 to February 2022 was the most joyous and jarring two years of my sixty-something life.

On February 15, 2020, I married my true love: Dorothy “Doti” Karen Tan Quemada, a Filipina I met online. Our initial in person meeting was in June 2014 in Manila. After visiting Doti twice in the Philippines, she accepted my proposal and left her Motherland to marry me. The honeymoon was awe-inspiring. A two-week road trip in a rented Mustang from Sin City to the Holy City. Upon arriving in Charleston, Doti met my dad, Otto Sr., aka Big O. She took to him like he was her own father, and he loved her like a daughter.

Unfortunately, the father/daughter-in-law relationship lasted only six weeks. On April 5th, Big O passed away from natural causes. He was 92 and had a good run. The son of Hungarian immigrants, he served in the Merchant Marines, and on the front lines of the Korean War. He raised 6 kids, retired from Ford after 30 years. Dad was a good humored gent who could make or fix anything. Big O never had a bad word to say about anybody. While drifting off in his bed he told me, “I’m sorry about all this.”

“There’s no need to be sorry, Dad. We love you, we’re here to take care of you.”

My father’s final words were humble, offering an unnecessary apology as he dozed off to eternal sleep. “I know, I just feel bad about it.”

I miss him every day and soldier on with one of his greatest lessons. “Respect: it doesn’t cost a dime and you can buy the world with it.” Nothing can ever prepare one for the death of a parent. Nor was I prepared 11 months later in March of 2021, when I lost my dear friend, Terrell “T Bone” Brunet. A wild child from Louisiana who put the rage in Ragin’ Cajun. We were blood brothers. Knife wielding artisans bonded by the greatest profession in the world: The culinary arts. T Bone was a proud Cajun, carrying photos of his ancestry on his phone. He spoke with encyclopedic authority and delivered with the demeanor of a cool college prof, with slow, intentional intonation. Like me, T Bone was forever inquisitive. We were connected by our love of culture, music, art, literature, fashion, sports, and humanities, insatiably living life and devouring it to the core every day. As Shakespeare penned. “The world’s mine oyster, Which I with sword will open.” I lost the best shucking partner I ever had.

When my phone rang on July 10th, 2021, at 3:00 a.m., a female law enforcement from the Kern County Sheriff’s Department in California identified herself. She asked me, “Do you know a Douglas Borsich?”

“In Search of Humanity: Time to Do More?” By Dennis Pitocco

In Search of Humanity: Time to Do More?

By Dennis Pitocco

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.

~ Denis Waitley

Being human is given. But keeping our humanity is a choice. It’s not about me. It’s not about you. It’s about US. It’s about serving others and finding ourselves along the way. It’s about stepping back before we charge forward with whatever comes next —taking a momentary breath to stop, reset, and focus on how we can experience a more positively connected universe. Historians will look back on this pause and this pivot with a critical perspective.

Success for humanity will be linked to whether we were able to be more empathetic, more effective communicators and more willing collaborators. How we choose to operate and cooperate.

Success will be measured by whether we have done significantly more good and a whole lot less harm to the world we depend on and each other. Perhaps it all begins and ends by reclaiming our humanity?

Permission Granted | Notice Given

The world didn’t give you permission to be here—but you didn’t ask for permission, either. Some of us are still asking for permission when we should be giving the world notice. Notice that we are at a crossroads of a whole new chapter for humanity. A marker in history where the opportunity exists to come together and reimagine how to to build a better future. An opportunity to be a part of creating a brighter future for those who follow, where the connected human experience is well-balanced between the best of humanity combined with the power of technology and science to transform how we live for the better.

It’s Time for More

We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity; more than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

~Charles Chaplin

Right now, it feels like a moment in history where choices made will have a ripple effect for generations to come. Whether you’re a partner, friend, parent, leader, teacher, politician, or a combination thereof, we are called to show up and do more good to help fuel a better version of the world we live in. At the same time, we need to ask for more from each person in our lives and in our relationships to make the world spin more smoothly. We need more from everyone who leads and is in a position of influence. Understand that it’s not about you, it’s about caring for the people you serve and more responsibly stewarding the precious resources in our care.

More Accountability Personal accountability is taking ownership and embracing the belief that you are fully responsible for the consequences resulting from your choices, behaviors, and actions. It’s a mindset and an expression of integrity. Accountability is not a one-time, sometimes thing; it’s an all-time thing.

More Action Act now, and act as if what you are doing makes a difference – because it does. The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you can alter, even by a millimeter, the way people look at reality, then you can change the world. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”–St. Francis

“Education and Its Role in Life” By Dr. Reeta Kaul Thukral

“Education and Its Role in Life” By Dr. Reeta Kaul Thukral”

An educated society is crucial for economic growth. With a more educated population, more employment opportunities are opened. Countries with higher literacy rates also tend to be in better economic situations. Education helps you to get accepted by those around you and as a contributing member of society. Education is something that is not only needed on a personal level, but also on a global level, as it is something that keeps our world safe and makes it a more peaceful place.

Education is the best way to ensure a positive world value and view. Education can teach us about our place in this world, and about our responsibility to humanity. Education can help you stay focused and on track in the right direction by knowing what the right path is for you. The mind can only reach its full potential if it has been fed with the knowledge it needs to think outside the box. With a powerful, well-educated mind we can not only know how to best take care of ourselves, we can feel confident and good about ourselves, which will likely have a positive effect on our physical well-being. Education has even been proven to add years to our life. To be exact, each additional year of education was found to add as much as 1.7 years to our lives.

Education Is Important for Children;

Children are the future of our world, making education crucial for them. Their knowledge is what is going to keep our world alive and flourishing. During the childhood development stages, the importance of education is stronger than ever. It’s a time for children to learn social and mental skills that will be crucial for their growth and success in the future. By learning from a young age, children are given the chance to start building goals for themselves and learn about their unique interests. Education means having the logic to set your mind to something and achieve it.

Role of parents in child’s education;

The role of parents may be divided into three main categories:

  1. Showing support for their child’s education,
  2. Making their home a good place for learning, and
  3. Helping with homework.

Attendance: Good school attendance is important to academic achievement. When students are absent from school, they miss vital instruction. Parents have control over their child’s attendance.

Attitude: Parents need to display a positive attitude toward school in general. If parents have a positive attitude, the child will also have that positive attitude toward school.

Role Model: The parent needs to be a positive role model for the child in helping to shape the child’s opinions and attitudes about learning.

“What am I?” By Audra Hajj

What am I?

By Audra Hajj

I am the creator of empires. I am the maker of kings. I am the difference between CEO and employee. I am completely controlled by choice. I can extend the hours in your day. I can rob you of potential opportunities. I can stop you from reaching your goals. I can get you to your goals faster. I am the most undiscovered and ignored asset. I am the driving force behind every successful person. I am time management.

As an executive coach, many of my clients come to me with problems that seem to elude even the highest and most successful executives in business. But after launching and working with over 3,100 companies since 2006, I have seen a common denominator in success. Success comes to those who manage their time wisely.

Most very successful executives get up early. Very early. Think about this, most working people set their alarm clocks for 6:30 AM. A high percentage of those people hit snooze for another 25 minutes. That is 125 minutes a week wasted, and equates to 6,250 minutes a year assuming you get 2 weeks vacation per year. There are 1,440 minutes in a day. So the average working person wastes 4.34 days of their life on hitting snooze!

Now, let’s look at the successful executive routine. The 4 AM Club. Executives that are part of this club are commonly asked by their peers and employees “ How do you get so much done in a day?” The truth is we all have the same 1,440 minutes a day but how we use them makes a difference. Here is a sample of a 4 AM club member’s morning.

The 4 Am Club Morning Routine.

4:00 – Wakes up to silence. It is said that the first 20 minutes of your day will set the tone for the rest of your day. So right off that bat they have peace and quiet and start to reflect on things needed.

4:30 – Do a self-care routine. Workout, stretch, Yoga, meditate on things of this nature. Normally when they select their routines they add them to every day of the week and do them without excuses.

5:30 – Straight to emails.

6:45 – Check their appointment calendar & prepare or review materials for meetings.

7:00 – Create their daily to do list

“Do Miraculous Things Happen To Ordinary People?” By Aimmee Kodachian

“Do Miraculous Things Happen To Ordinary People?” By Aimmee Kodachian

In 2005, I was driving in my new car on the freeway, listening to Celine Dion. The euphoria stemmed from a successful business meeting I had just concluded. However, as I journeyed southward, my mind unexpectedly detoured back to 1975, when I was 12, transporting me to our family living room on an unforgettable day. It was a day when my 20-year-old brother, Robert, whom I admired, and I engaged in a conversation about my struggles at school.

Back then, people didn’t understand how to deal with a child with dyslexia, and I was punished and held back in my class year after year. Therefore, I desired to become a teacher to help children struggling with school. During my cherished moment with Robert, he gave me hope, assuring me that he would help me with my education to reach my dream of becoming a teacher.

Robert rose to get his tea from the kitchen, and in that split second, I felt a mysterious urge to get up and get it for him. But as I headed toward the kitchen, disaster struck. A bomb crashed through the living room window, engulfing the apartment in chaos and flames. Frantically, I screamed, “Robert, Robert!!” An earlier delightful moment now turned into a terrifying reality as Lebanon plunged into war, and Robert lay dead.

Amidst the smoke and confusion, I saw my mother panicking and attempting to escape through the window while my father struggled to keep her safe. The explosions and screams filled the air, and the world around me blurred as I helplessly

witnessed the unfolding tragedy. Bombs continued to devastate the building, shaking us to our core with each terrifying impact. The entire experience felt surreal, and I struggled to accept the harsh reality before my eyes. Life stood still as I grappled with uncertainty and fear enveloping me.

After the chaotic events, my father comforted me by sharing his profound wisdom, explaining the significance of the black part of our eyes, the pupil, representing how sometimes we must go through darkness to see the light. “You might not understand it now, but someday you will.” His words struck a chord within me, making me stop and think deeply about what he was saying.

The war brought hardships upon my family, leaving us homeless and separated. At 12 years old, I had to care for my younger brother in a rundown boarding school. The war’s impact was severe, cutting off communication and basic necessities, and I feared I might never see my family again.

Surrendering to God at 12, I experienced His gift—the Miracle Light—that guided and protected me throughout the challenging 13 years of the Civil War.

“The Importance of Vocal Training for Aspiring Singers” By Stephanie Thompson

“The Importance of Vocal Training for Aspiring Singers” By Stephanie Thompson

In the fiercely competitive music industry, becoming a professional singer requires more than natural talent and a passion for music; it demands dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to honing your craft. One crucial aspect that aspiring singers should never overlook is vocal training. Whether you possess an exceptional voice or are still discovering your potential, investing in vocal training can significantly enhance your abilities and pave the way for a successful singing career. In this article, we will explore the reasons why vocal training is necessary if you want to become a professional singer.

I have been involved in singing from a young age, starting in my family’s church when I was three years old. My first vocal coach was my Dad. He’s a beautiful singer and when you hear him sing, you feel his heart and soul. I would cry when I heard him sing. I was so moved. One of the first things he taught me is how to make your audience feel your words. As I got older, my parents made the decision to get me a private vocal coach, and it turned out to be the best thing they could have done for my singing career. The value of having a good coach cannot be overstated.

Even now, I believe that every singer needs a coach, as we are often unable to objectively hear our own voices. Having another person’s perspective and guidance is crucial. Therefore, my first suggestion is to find the right coach who makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and understands your personality. This type of coach can truly enhance your voice. It is essential to avoid stress when receiving training from anyone.

Develop Vocal Technique: Vocal training provides aspiring singers with the necessary tools to develop their vocal technique. A trained voice can effortlessly navigate through different ranges, control pitch, and produce a wide variety of tones and dynamics. The proper technique helps singers maintain vocal health, avoid strain or injury, and consistently perform at their best. Through vocal training, singers learn various breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, proper posture, and vocal exercises that strengthen their vocal muscles and expand their vocal range.

Enhance Performance Skills: Singing is not solely about having a beautiful voice; it is also about delivering a captivating performance. Vocal training goes beyond technical aspects and focuses on enhancing performance skills. Singers learn how to develop stage presence, microphone technique, expression, interpretation, and effective communication with the audience. These skills are crucial in capturing the hearts of listeners and creating a memorable experience. Vocal training empowers singers to connect with their emotions and effectively convey them through their voices, allowing them to stand out in a competitive industry.

“A Path to Success for the Millennials” By George Chanos

“A Path to Success for the Millennials” By George Chanos

The Danger of Delusional Beliefs and a Sense of Entitlement
Delusional beliefs and a sense of entitlement are two incredibly destructive forces. Either one can prevent you from ever becoming successful or realizing your dreams.

Many people, from all generations, have a delusional sense of entitlement. Rather than accept personal responsibility, they think that someone else is responsible for them or they think that rules don’t apply to them.

We see it everywhere – the person who cuts in line, the person who takes more than their fair share, the person who expects or demands accommodation or assistance – all of these people suffer from a sense of entitlement.

If you suffer from either delusional beliefs or a sense of entitlement, and you don’t resolve to get past these maladies you will, without question, increase your likelihood of failure.

Who Are You and Who Do You Want to Be?
The important questions are: Who are you? How do you perceive yourself? How do others perceive you? Who do you want to be?

How you dress, your grooming, your posture, your eye contact, your demeanor, your attitude, your handshake, your table manners, how you speak, your phone manner, the format of your resume, the way you phrase a letter, your presence on social media, all affect the impression you make on others.

Think about how you may be perceived by others and about how you want to be perceived. Then, work with patience, humility and dedication, toward meriting the perception that you want and believe you deserve.

If you think you’re special – Stop! You’re not. Regardless how smart you think you are, you will not succeed without hard work, commitment, perseverance and a fidelity to core values. No one does and you are no exception!

Some Millennials see their parents – who are intelligent and successful people – and conclude that since they too are intelligent – they too will be successful.

What they don’t see is how hard their parents have had to work for their success.

Perhaps that’s because much of their parent’s hard work occurred before they were born or while they were too young to notice.

While the cause of their miscalculation may be uncertain, the flaw in their logic is unmistakable.
Intelligence alone does not guarantee success. Intelligence + hard work + core values (generally) = Success. Even then – there is no guarantee.

You have the ability to control your thoughts. Who you are is determined by how you think, how you act, how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you.

Decide who you want to be and then work toward becoming that person.

Conscious Deliberate Manifestation Series, “How the Mind Thinks” By Tim Zimmerman

“Conscious Deliberate Manifestation Series, “How the Mind Thinks” By Tim Zimmerman

Think about it, when we were growing up and our parents said, “Don’t play with the ball in the house” or “Don’t (do not) eat so fast,” or “Don’t run around the pool,” what would we picture and what would we act upon?

We would continue to play with the ball, eat fast, and run around the pool, and then we would get in trouble. This confuses the mind because the parent put the picture into our mind, we reacted naturally from it, they got mad and we got in trouble and punished.

Why do we still do this to our own kids, family, spouses and associates?

Because we were, and are, programmed that way. We refrained from knowing better…until now.

Look back to some of the earliest writings. Something got lost in the translations to English.

I was told by a linguistic scholar, during my research, that the translated word “not” meant “Zero” in its original language.

The point I am making is that if you are saying out loud or to yourself, “I am not sick,” or “I am not lying,” or “I didn’t do it,” or “I didn’t say that,” what are you saying to your subconscious mind and the mind of anyone you are saying it to? The opposite of the idea you want to convey and the results you really want to have happen.

So, what are you supposed to do instead of using “Not”?

First, become aware of what you are thinking and speaking. Remember in the SM3 Success Five Laws of Manifestation, the thoughts that you think create the words that you speak to yourself and to others. You can use the SM3 Success Watch Your Thoughts exercise to master this for free. It is a profound exercise that is easy and everyone loves.

Think and Say in positive terms what you want to have happen. Instead of “Don’t run” say “Walk around the pool.” Instead of “Don’t eat so fast” say “Eat slowly and savor your food, it tastes better.” Instead of “Don’t play with the ball in the house” say “Play with the ball outside only.”  Refrain from adding, like most parents do, “But don’t break anything.”  Inevitably, something gets broken within five minutes. Realize they (you) put the image of it in their mind. People do it all the time. You are giving someone directions and at the end, what do you say? “You can’t miss it.” And what happens, they miss it every time. So be mindful of what you are thinking and saying.

If you catch yourself thinking or speaking negative (to yourself or others) say out loud “Cancel, Cancel” and change it to what you want to have happen. For instance, if you are trying to wish someone well on their travels, instead of “Don’t get in an accident,” say “Have a safe trip.” Instead of “Button up so you don’t catch a cold,” say “Button up so you stay healthy.” Do you get it? Or don’t you get it?
